Mini Presidio 2 575-1

The Mini Presidio gives a old dog new tricks.  Replacing the heavy and somewhat too smooth aluminum handle with the CF Elite, a Carbon fiber based composite, gives this knife a new life.  The handle is very grippy but not so much it's going to tear through your pants or hands.  It has a great feel in the hand, light weight but super sturdy, all the rigidity of the aluminum handles and a lot less weight.  It comes stock with Benchmade's deep carry clip, so it carries discretely but is easy to deploy due to the excellent purchase you can get on the handle.  Even though this is called a Mini, I would compare it more with a full size Griptilian than a mini-griptilian.  The flatness of the scales makes it very comfortable to carry in front or back pocket and even in the waistband.  Good ergonomics make it form to that hand giving a secure grip to meet even the hardest of cuts.  S30V blade will give you an excellent sharp edge and edge retention while giving a high level of corrosion resistance.  If you want a lightweight, sturdy, ambidextrous, edge holding knife all made in the USA add this to your list.
